			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Someone asked me why I use flash instead of processing to create these graphics. It seemed to him that this is precisely the type of thing that processing was designed to do. And he is correct. Processing is taylor-made to build a project like this. So why did I use flash? Because I know flash and Actionscript better and its where I&#8217;m most comfortable.</p>
<p>I actually do use a bit of processing, though. My epicycle explorer is built in processing and was very easy to build. Perhaps I&#8217;ll port the entire project over some day in order to take advantage of OpenGL rendering..</p>
